LÄKEROL MAKES PEOPLE TALKLäkerol makes people talk, and has done so for exactly one hundred years. The throat pastille that so easily slips into your mouth and soothes your throat has a long, fun and interesting history.Did you know, for example that Läkerol was named after a liquid antiseptic that was said to be good for all kinds of complaints, from head to toe? Or that the Nobel Prize winner Selma Lagerlöf testified to its excellence way back at the beginning of the last century?Läkerol has survived two world wars, been delivered in golden boxes to royals and sponsored Sweden´s first glider. Läkerol has even been a purveyor to the Royal Court since 1916. In the thirties, Läkerol was seen on the silver screen and in the sixties, it was marketed using kissing couples. In the seventies, the first sugar-free version variety was launched and in the eighties, Björn Borg popped up in the ads. But Läkerol has not only travelled in time but in the world as well.
