You can travel with your pet on all the regular Viking Line voyages. However, we ask you to ensure that your pet does not disturb the travel experience of the other passengers or the ship's crew. Please observe the simple rules below.
Travelling with pets
- Pets can be taken on the route traffic only. Pets are not allowed on cruises or on Birka Gotland sailings.
- You need to buy a ticket for your pet. Pet ticket prices vary depending on the route, and the exact price is available in the online booking system.
- Taking pets to restaurants is not permitted.
- Pets are to be kept in cabins during overnight voyages. Reserving an allergy-friendly cabin with a pet is not permitted.
- The number of pets to be admitted on board is limited.
- Guide dogs can travel free of charge on all ships, including those where travelling with pets in other cases is not allowed.
- Please notify us of your intention to travel with a pet when booking the tickets.
- The pet owner is fully responsible for the pet during the journey. Pets must not be left unattended.
