Discover more
Helsinki is a city where architectural surprises abound. The classical façades you first encounter can be misleading. Take a short stroll along the waterfront from the terminal to the city centre to see for yourself.
If you have no specific plans in Helsinki, then the two-and-a-half-hour sea journey is an excellent opportunity to map out your visit to the Finnish capital while also grabbing a bite to eat or availing of the favourable onboard store prices.
The maritime entrance to Helsinki is one of the most beautiful in the Baltic: the ship sails past tiny islets with fishing cottages, and nearby, the fortifications of Suomenlinna reveal themselves. Speaking of Suomenlinna, it's a fantastic spot with numerous museums where, in good weather, you can spend an entire day and have a picnic.
Which Helsinki should you choose? Architectural? Museum-focused? Design-oriented? Culinary? Your exploration of the city can take you in any multitude of directions!
After your wander, treat yourself to a relaxing dinner or a sing-along at the onboard karaoke bar.
