When travelling with children, there are some important rules to keep in mind. Each child must have a travel document and, if necessary, a valid visa for the entire trip.
Travelling with children
When booking a full cabin on overnight sailings, you can additionally accommodate 1 child aged 0–11 years without a separate berth. Baby cots are available for children weighing up to 10 kg. We do not recommend that children sleep in the upper beds. If necessary, additional safety rails can be requested at the reception desk on board.
Be careful when choosing a suitable cabin — baby cots cannot be placed in some cabins due to safety requirements. We always indicate this information at the time of booking.
Viking Line ships have playrooms with toys and drawing equipment for children, as well as care rooms. Children's games are carried out by entertainment hosts. Please note that it is only during the school holidays season that the hosts are available on board Birka Gotland.
Our crew is not responsible for young passengers in the playrooms. All children are required to be under parental supervision while on board.
