A 23-year-old rum distilled from pressing sugar cane and using the SistemaSolera aging process to create a world class rum.Its secret is the slow ageing process that takes place at high altitudes (roughly2300 meters above sea level) in the cool air of the highlands. We say it’s ‘agedabove the clouds’.Ron Zacapa Centenario contains an award-winning blend of rums, distilled bypressing the sugar cane found in the volcanic soil in the Guatemalan coast.The rum is aged in casks that previously held American Whiskey, OlorosoSherry and Pedro Ximenez Wines. Different barrels and different levels ofmaturity are blended together over time.
