Local transfer connections in Stockholm

Our Transfer buses ("Flygbussarna") travel between Cityterminalen and Viking Line terminal (Stadsgården) and vice versa in connection with arrivals and departures of the ships. A fee is charged and the trip takes around 15 min. The Central Train Station is located right next to the City Terminal.

  • One-way Stadsgården–City Terminal €6, children 6–11 years €3.50
  • One-way Stadsgården–Djurgården €6, children 6–11 years €3.50
  • Return to both destinations €10, children 6–11 years €5.50

Two children (0–5 years) travel free with full paying adult.

  • In the City Terminal in Viking Line travel shop, the Flygbussarna travel shop or at "Pressbyrån" (Swedish convenience store chain).

There is also an outdoor ticket machine at the Viking Line terminal, where you can pay by Visa, Master Card, American Express and Diner's Club.

If you have a Swedish mobile subscription, you can buy a single bus ticket via SMS to 72212 with the code HVL40.

* Please note that on board the bus, you can only pay by card.

Tour to the City Terminal via Djurgården

The bus departing at 10.45 from the Viking Line terminal run directly to Djurgården and from there to the City Terminal (signage "Djurgården"). Travel time to Djurgården is about 20–30 minutes and there are two stops – at Nordiska Museet (Junibacken) and Skansen. Flygbussarna return from Djurgården to Viking Line terminal at 15.00, from Skansen stop.

Local traffic

Metro to stop Slussen (green and red lines), take exit "Saltsjöbanan, Nacka-bussar". Board any bus of number 400-series and get off next stop (Londonviadukten). The Viking Line terminal is opposite. Note! Busses marked with D do not stop there, always confirm with driver. A walk from Slussen to the terminal takes around 15 min (about 1 km)
