Astrid Lindgren's World

Astrid Lindgren's World is a theatre and theme park in author's birthplace Vimmerby about 294 km from Stockholm. Meet Pippi Longstocking, That Emil and Karlsson on the Roof and visit Matt´s Fort, Cherry Tree Valley or Noisy Village. In Astrid Lindgren's World you can meet most of the characters and environments that Astrid Lindgren created. Experience the familiar scenes from the books and become part of the popular stories.

Now you can visit the Cherry Tree Valley and Wild Rose Valley in Nangijala, and at Mattisgården you can watch performances every day, throughout the summer.

The discount is valid for all cottages. Normal rates apply on other dates and on add-ons such as cleaning. Entrance tickets are not included in the accommodation price but must be booked separately via Viking Line.
